DAY TRIP TO TROON – SATURDAY 2 JULY 2016

On Saturday eight children from St Oswald’s Scottish Episcopal Church Kings Park and Castlemilk came to Troon for a Fun Day out, this being the first time any of them had seen the sea. So great was their excitement that some ran into the sea full clothed. Luckily they had a change of clothes! They played on the beach and then enjoyed games & crafts and wrote prayers in the church hall while they warmed up again and finished off their visit with fish & chips. Here is the Thank You note they left for the congregation and the prayers that they wrote, which were read out in both churches on Sunday morning.
